A Wisconsin-based manufacturer plans to acquire and renovate a former textile building in southeast Georgia that will serve as a new headquarters.
The Georgia Department of Economic Development said Tuesday that Modutek International LLC, a manufacturer out of Williams Bay, Wis., will create 70 new jobs and invest more than $6 million into a new manufacturing and distribution facility in Soperton, which has a population of about 3,000.
