#234 - Giving Back After Success with Ron Saunders

Ron Saunders is a serial entrepreneur and investor and currently serves as Board Chair for Cystic Fibrosis Foundation South Florida. He co-founded Fresh-Aire UV in 2001 out of a home garage and grew it to a multi-million dollar enterprise. The company designs and manufactures patented technology and UV light disinfection systems and indoor air quality (IAQ) products for residential and commercial use. Fresh-Aire UV business grew exponentially during the pandemic and the company was acquired twice since 2021. For more than 20 years Ron served at co-owner and Vice President of Sales. Ron is still actively involved at Fresh-Aire UV as Director. Several years ago another business of Ron's blossomed from his passion for hosting events and supporting charities, a side-hustle he calls "Silent Disco Kings". Party hosts can rent earphones and listen to music and dance together with no outside noise!

Ron is a fierce military advocate and supports a multitude of military charities. He gives back in many ways and supports local entrepreneurs. He is Board Member and Individual Giving Chair for the Cystic Fibrosis South Florida Chapter. Two big Cystic Fibrosis events Ron spearheads each year in honor of his cousin who has CF include the Palm Beach Songwriters in the Round, an intimate evening featuring some of Nashville's best singer-songwriters (coming up April 29, 2023) and Silent Disco featuring a night of music, dancing and fun wearing headphones where all the proceeds go to Cystic Fibrosis.
