A passionate visionary championing efforts to enrich the lives of adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities, Patricia (Pat) Murphy brings more than 30 years of executive management experience to her position as CEO of Ann Storck Center.

Her ability to motivate and inspire staff along with her vast program knowledge has contributed to enhancing the lives of thousands of adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the South Florida community.

As a certified behavior analyst, Pat's clinical expertise has assisted in opening 10 behavior focus group homes for adults and children and the only behavior focus day training program in South Florida. Her extensive yet diverse experience in supporting individuals with unique abilities, early childhood, adult programming, program development, and team building, along with her positive leadership style, have made her a well-respected leader in the South Florida community.

Pat is active in local, state, and national professional organizations, serving in a variety of board and community leadership roles. These include being a board member/treasurer of the Nonprofit Executive Alliance of Broward, Helping Adults with Autism Perform and Excel (HAAPE) board member, Special Compass volunteer; Special Needs Advisory Committee member and Florida Association of Rehabilitation Facilities (FARF) member.

She is the winner of Optime Consulting's 2021 Influential Women in Social Responsibility Award, Coffee Break with Charley's 2021 Community Service Award and United Cerebral Palsy Volunteer of the Year, 2017.

Pat holds a bachelor's degree in Education from Saint Leo University in Saint Leo, Florida; a master's in Sports Management from the United States Sports Academy in Daphne, Alabama; and is a Board-Certified Associate Behavior Analyst (BCaBA).

Ann Storck Center (ASC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through an array of critical care, learning and ability focused programs. ASC has been serving the community for more than 65 years, originally known as the Pediatric Care Center, then in 1981 becoming ASC. Today, ASC accommodates 300 children and adults on six separate sites including a school/therapy center, adult day training program, two intermediate care facilities offering specialized residential services, as well as four group homes embedded in the community offering a more independent lifestyle.
