#265 - Passion + Purpose = Career with Alex Schulze

Alex grew up in Florida on Marco Island where he spent most of his free time at the beach and on the ocean. As he took up fishing, diving, and surfing, his natural affinity for the ocean and his passion for marine life grew.

As a teenager, Alex became a licensed boat captain and ran fishing charters and boat tours to earn a living which only deepened his connection to the ocean. He continued this career while attending Florida Atlantic University.

After graduating in 2014 with a degree in Entrepreneurship and Business Management, he took that fateful surf trip to Bali, Indonesia—the one that inspired him and his friend Andrew to launch the ocean cleanup company 4ocean. But you'll have to click here for the rest of that story.
