#277 - Be the Light in the Room with Richard Segal

Richard I. Segal is a founding partner of RFB + Fisher Potter Hodas and serves as the co-managing partner of the Miami office. Prior to co-founding the firm, Richard practiced for five years at a litigation firm, Segal Zuckerman in Miami, which focused on family law and business litigation in state and federal courts throughout Florida and nationwide and for another ten years as a partner at a well-known litigation firm in South Florida. Richard focuses his practice on assisting clients in a range of high-end dissolutions of marriage, matrimonial disputes, and business and corporate litigation matters.

Segal, a third-generation Miami Beach native, is also the 43^rd chairman of the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce's (MBCC) Board of Directors. After nearly 10 years of commitment as a very active member of the MBCC, he stepped into this position in October 2023. During his two-year tenure as chairman, Segal will set the agenda of priorities for the MBCC and develop membership strategies for the organization, which represents the majority of businesses fueling the Miami Beach economy. It includes a diverse membership of more than 100 members across its Board of Governors and Pillar Board of Trustees.
