Steve Outtrim / CEO of AI Level Up
Steve
Outtrim is a tech entrepreneur from New Zealand who now lives in Boca Raton. In
1995 Steve started an Internet company called Sausage Software. Their product
HotDog made it easy for people to make Web Pages; in 1997 WIRED magazine
named HotDog the third most downloaded Internet software. Steve took the
company public in 1996, at 23 becoming the youngest CEO of a public company and
smashing a record Rupert Murdoch held for 30 years. Steve sold Sausage Software
in 2000 and started another company Urbanise, which went public in 2014.
They make building management software used in more than 3,000 real estate
developments worldwide, including the world's tallest building the Burj Khalifa
in Dubai. Steve has made more than 50 early stage technology investments over
the last 25 years, having particular success with fintech Socure and
nutraceutical business Aussie Bodies. Steve and his wife Tara are involved in
philanthropy and are honored to serve the Boca Raton community as Vanguards of
the new Center for Arts and Innovation at Mizner Park.
