Rob Christopher is an accomplished AV Preeminent litigation and trial attorney who realized after years of practicing law that settling common, low-stakes disputes takes too much time, causes stress and aggravation, and often cost more in legal fees than they're worth. That's why he developed NDR—Neutral-Driven Resolution-an innovative and less costly way to resolve common disputes. It's the basis of the business he founded, Just Resolve, and the subject of his new book Just Right: How Neutral-Driven Resolution Can Close the Gap in American Civil Justice. Formerly with the New York-based law firm of Coudert Brothers LLP and Hopkins & CarleyALC in California, Rob practiced in commercial, antitrust, and intellectual property litigation, during which he earned one of the 50 largest California business case verdicts in 2009 on half of a leading U.S. manufacturer. He is also General Counsel and Co-Owner of ChristopherRanch LLC, a family-owned California farm business whose fresh garlic products are a nationally recognized brand. Rob has also served as a mediator, arbitrator, and settlement Judge Pro-Tem for the Santa Clara county Superior Court. He is admitted to practice before the US Supreme Court, California state courts, numerous federal district courts, and several federal circuit courts of appeal. His speaking engagements on disruption and innovation in dispute resolution include law school guest lecturing, chamber of commerce talks, a seminar delivered to the California AGC, and numerous talks to business CEO groups and law firms. The father of two grown sons, he lives in Morgan Hill, California with his wife of 37 years.
