David Liniado is co-founder and managing partner at 19Y Advisors.  David and his team manage a portfolio of venture related projects that range from developing growth strategies for enterprise clients, accelerating early stage ventures and raising venture capital.  David leverages close to 30 years as a serial entrepreneur, investor and corporate executive in a number of industries including; mobility, consumer products, technology, media and marketing services.

Since 19Y’s inception in March of 2020, David has expanded the team and taken on clients that include the world’s largest recycler of Aluminum, a food science venture backed company that manufactures dairy, a luxury automotive brand and a product incubator that is launching several direct to consumer brands this fall.

David most recently served as Vice President, New Ventures and Business Development for Cox Automotive (a division of Cox Enterprises).  In this role, David grew Cox’s footprint and partnerships in the areas of shared mobility, electrification, vehicle telematics and mobile vehicle services.  As an intrapreneur, David developed a number of internal ventures, including Flexdrive, a vehicle subscription platform (later sold to Lyft), along with spearheading investments in Getaroud, RideCell and Vinli.

Prior to Cox Automotive, David spent two decades in the entrepreneurial world—serving in leadership roles with half a dozen startups, including taking a venture through to an IPO. It all started when David launched a social networking platform (Student Advantage) from his dorm room at Emory University that grew from a business plan competition to a team of 500 employees that went public eight years later, raising $72M on the NASDAQ. David was a trailblazer in mobile marketing, mobile web and application development. David’s prior venture iZigg has delivered over 100M text messages campaigns for brands ranging from Monster Energy to Bulldog Kia in Athens, Georgia. David also has extensive experience in business-to-business marketing from creating and leading Everon Technology Service, which offers remotely delivered technology services on a subscription basis to thousands of businesses nationwide.

David has held numerous board roles and advisory positions. David holds an MBA in entrepreneurship from Babson College – Franklin E. Olin Graduate School of Business. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration degree from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.  David is an active endurance athlete having completed numerous Ironman competitions and marathons.
