Houston-based medical equipment supplier expands to Albuquerque

Houston-based medical equipment supplier US Med-Equip has expanded to Albuquerque, New Mexico, as part of its $10 million investment to grow in the western U.S. over the next three years.

“Our hub in Albuquerque and our expansion farther westward allows us to continue to grow and support the needs of more hospitals and health care providers who are saving and improving lives every day,” US Med-Equip Chief Development Officer Greg Salario said.

Ford to create over 500 jobs with new Houston call center

Dearborn, Michigan-based Ford Motor Co. (NYSE: F) plans to open a 55,000-square-foot call center in west Houston.

The call center at 5959 Corporate Drive, near the intersection of the Westpark Tollway and Beltway 8, will create over 500 jobs, a Ford spokesperson said. The majority of the employees will be hired by the end of 2019, and the center should be fully staffed by the first quarter of 2020.
