The so-called Beltline bill appears to be dead in the General Assembly.

Legislation letting owners of commercial and multi-family residential properties along the Beltline tax themselves to raise funds to complete a network of trails along the 22-mile loop is not among 80 bills the Georgia Senate is scheduled to consider on Tuesday or Thursday, the final two days of this year’s sesison. The measure originated in the state House of Representatives, where it passed late last month.
