After warning that its first quarter would be a weaker one on the financial front, Boeing nevertheless ended the week with a string of new aircraft deliveries.

Boeing gave the keys to a new 737 Max 8 to Oman Air, delivered a second 737 Max to Travel Service, the largest airline in the Czech Republic, and handed off a third to German travel giant TUI Group.

Boeing promises 737 Max buyers they will enjoy double-digit improvements in fuel efficiency, a strong selling point as oil prices rise globally.
