Tee up another win for Kirkland. The city is getting the first Topgolf Lounge.
Planned as more than the company’s typical golf simulator, the lounge will be a bar and virtual golf venue that Topgolf Lounge President Ron Powers hopes will become the “forefront of the ‘eatertainment’ movement.”
“Topgolf Lounge guests will be blown away by our incredible bar, massive outdoor patio space and interactive sports games, making them feel like they are actually playing live,” he said.

The head of Amazon.com Inc.’s unscripted programming division is out of a job in less than a year.
Deadline first reported the departure of Heather Schuster, saying the exit came after “an internal investigation into alleged inappropriate comments during meetings, and possible misuse of power.”
Variety confirmed the departure, adding that there were “allegations that she engaged in verbally abusive behavior.”
Schuster was appointed to her job in October, replacing Conrad Riggs.
