Claudia Williams / The Human Zone & Frientorship
Claudia’s background as an attorney, practical approach to problem solving, and commitment to helping you achieve your goals make her the right partner for your business.
Claudia helps businesses deliver the results they need by transforming leaders, driving employee engagement and building thriving workplace cultures. She founded her company, The Human Zone, after spending more than a decade as an attorney coaching leaders of organizations of all sizes through challenging situations. She is a speaker and author who provides strategic, HR-based support throughout each stage of the employee life cycle: recruiting, hiring, onboarding, performance management, training & development, succession planning and separation.
Immediately prior to starting The Human Zone, Claudia served as Associate General Counsel, Global HR & Litigation, for The Hershey Company. There, she led the law department’s labor and employment legal team to support the global needs of the human resources organization. She also led the law department’s litigation team, with responsibility for managing the company’s global litigation portfolio. Claudia worked closely with the Chief Human Resources Officer and other HR leaders, providing support and advice on organizational HR initiatives, goals, processes, procedures and enterprise risk management. Claudia also provided guidance and information to the company’s senior-most leaders, corporate board of directors and various committees.
Claudia was named one of the 2017 Top 100 People in Business by Pennsylvania Business Central. She received the PBA 2015 Special Achievement Award in recognition of her pro bono commitment to veterans and first responders. She was named as one of the Central Penn Business Journal’s 25 Women of Influence and was selected for inclusion in the 2008, 2010, 2011 and 2012 issues of Philadelphia Magazine’s Pennsylvania Super Lawyers – Rising Stars Editions. She serves as a member of the Advisory Board for The Salvation Army Greater Harrisburg, where she also co-chairs the Shoe Strut, an annual fundraiser for TSA. Because of the Shoe Strut, over 1,500 local children in need have received new shoes, and tens of thousands of dollars have been raised to support TSA programs and services. When she isn’t working, Claudia enjoys spending every moment with her husband and two spirited daughters.
