Charleston Ep. 9 - William Cason - The Cason Group

William Cason is President of The Cason Group, a General Agency that serves insurance agents and brokers throughout the Southeast by helping them deliver on the medical and financial services insurance needs of their clients. He has previously served as President of National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors for the South Carolina Midlands chapter and president of Insurance and Financial Leaders of the Southeast. Prior to becoming The Cason Group's President in 2011, William served the company as a Sales Representative, Manager, and Vice President of Sales. He also spent time at Jefferson Pilot as a Sales Manager.

William is a Class of 2002 magna cum laude graduate of the University of South Carolina, where he studied both Finance and Insurance. He has achieved designations as a Registered Health Underwriter, Chartered Life Underwriter, and Chartered Financial Consultant. He also is a member of the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Columbia Class of 2011.

Serving in the Columbia community, William is a member of the Young Life Committee, Midlands Business Leader Group and is a deacon at First Presbyterian Church. He and his wife, Jeri, have three children.

Also has previously served on the Providence Hospital Board of Trustees and Central Carolina Community Foundation Board of Directors.
