Layoffs weren’t the only topic of conversation at Coca-Cola’s investor day in Atlanta on Thursday. The beverage giant also talked sugar.
The Coca-Cola Co. (NYSE: KO) said it will test a soda recipe outside the U.S. next year that has no no sugar and zero calories — sweetened with stevia instead. Coca-Cola Life is currently made with both stevia and sugar, and CNBC reported the new drinking will rely solely on the sweetener derived from the stevia leaf.
