Connor Shaw: Gamecock Legend, Pro Athlete, and now Entrepreneurial Leader

Connor joined Arthur J. Gallagher as a benefits consultant after a career in professional and college football. Upon graduating from the University of South Carolina, Connor competed as a quarterback for the Cleveland Browns and Chicago Bears from 2014-2018. In 2020, Connor returned to his alma mater to serve as the Director of Player Development focusing on career development, leadership habits, and life skills.

Now, he utilizes his experience of leadership in team sports to be an advocate of behavioral changes that improve the health of individuals and organizations. In addition to his role at Gallagher, Connor hosts youth skills camps in partnership with Boys and Girls Clubs throughout the state. His organization, Shaw Camps, has hosted 14 youth camps with the goal of inspiring the next generation through sports and encouraging physical fitness, competition, and having fun.

Connor and his wife, Molly, have three children: Mila, Decker, and Cutler.
