Drone software and systems manufacturer Insitu will have a new president and CEO starting April 5.

Esina Alic replaces Ryan Hartman, who left the company last month to join Hood Technology Corp. as president and CEO.

Alic was most recently senior vice president of global operations, strategy and programs at German shoe manufacturer Adidas.

Her new role at Insitu, owned by aerospace giant Boeing Co., is a homecoming of sorts.
