Stacey Cohen / Mosaic Luxe Interiors

Stacey Cohen, Founder and Principal Designer of Mosaic Luxe Interiors gained national design recognition on HGTV Design Star. Cohen received her degree in Interior Architecture from Parsons, The New School of Design in New York. Additional studies and degrees in Journalism from Columbia College Chicago and Architecture from University of Illinois, empowers Cohen her 360 approach to create personalized spaces that embody stories unique to her clients.

Accepted into the prestigious Entrepreneur’s Organization’s Accelerator program allowed Cohen to take an upside-down look at her design business and pushed her to create a unique and disruptive design model, current with today’s 2020 trends. She proudly presents a model, rooted in her steadfast commitment to value, relevance, investment and quality which keeps projects on time and, more importantly, on budget.

Stacey shows up with a smile and verbal toolbox of analogies to help you feel comfortable with the design process. She sees home design in two stages. The first stage, is a swirl of programming ideas and product selections, the second stage is a straight line from ordering and expediting to receiving and installation. Stacey is motivated to give clients good design, at a fair price, in a timely manner.

Cohen’s design career is entering into its third decade. The first decade, began with accessory sales in the short-lived, but much loved, Banana Republic’s Home store on Chicago’s Mag Mile, sparking her interest to pursue a degree in interior design. Upon graduation, wanderlust of the arts, expanded to set design at MTV’s Broadway studio, set production on independent films in Chicago and LA, sales of high-end European Furniture and management of art galleries in New York and Birmingham, MI.

The second decade, began at UIC, studying for a Masters in Architecture. Studies were cut short when Cohen was quickly cast on HGTV Design Star and she launched her namesake, Stacey Cohen Interiors (SCi). The momentum led to numerous strategic marketing partnerships with national and local on-air design segments. Cohen’s exposure gave her a great opportunity connect to many people and to dedicate her talents to private clients in Chicago, New York, Suburban Detroit, Los Angles and Southern Florida.

With 2020 on the horizon, Cohen rebranded to create Mosaic Luxe. Passion and comfort defines this new landscape for Mosaic. Passion for travel-based projects and Comfort being a small business based out of Florida. Passion for new social communication with podcasts, national publication and fresh media and Comfort with past media and content. Passion for new stories and most importance Comfort with MOSAIC’s niche and business model.
