The Fulton County Commission voted Wednesday to roll back the county’s millage rate for the third year in a row.
Commissioners set the 2017 rate at a revenue-neutral 10.38 mills, down from 10.45 mills last year. As a result, the general fund portion of homeowners’ property tax bills is expected to remain unchanged.
“This is evidence of our continued focus on carefully managing spending while continuing to provide quality services to our residents,” said Bob Ellis, the commission’s interim chairman.
