The Georgia Public Service Commission on Tuesday approved a rate increase for Georgia Power Co.
The new rates will be effective Jan. 1, 2020, through Dec. 31, 2022.
Georgia Power will collect an additional $342 million in 2020, $181 million in 2012, and $386 million in 2022, the Southern Co. (NYSE: SO) subsidiary reported.
