Michael Scarafile / President of Carolina One Real Estate
Michael Scarafile grew up in Mt. Pleasant and graduated from Porter-Gaud High School in 1991. He graduated from the College of Charleston, with a degree in English, in 1995 and then went on to the South Carolina School of Law and graduated in 1998. Scarafile clerked for the Honorable A. Victor Rawl in the S.C. Circuit Court before joining the McNair Law Firm where he spent six and a half years as a litigation associate. He later joined Carolina One Real Estate Services, the market leader and largest real estate company in South Carolina, in 2005 as General Counsel and took over as President in 2011. He was named to the Charleston Reginal Business Journal's Forty Under 40 in 2012 and in 2017 was ranked #144 in the Swanepoel Power 200, recognizing the most powerful leaders in Residential Real Estate. Scarafile currently lives in Mt. Pleasant with his wife, Julie, and their two boys, Vito, who is ten, and Leo, who is seven, both attend Mason Prep School in downtown Charleston.
