Retail delivery service Instacart will launch its extended service area around Atlanta to another 495,000 households beginning Thursday.
The expansion will give customers access to Publix, Whole Foods Market, Costco, Petco and CVS, with groceries and other items delivered in as little as one hour. Instacart also announced Wednesday that it has plans to add more than 100 new shoppers.
In March, InstaCart announced it had raised $400 million in a Series D financing round led by Sequoia Capital.
