His military credentials extend further, attending both the United States Coast Guard Academy and the New Mexico Military Institute.

Now at the helm as the Chief Operations Officer of Coastal Security & Investigative Services, Inc. (CSSI), headquartered in Bluffton, SC, J.R. guides a flourishing family enterprise. Under his leadership, the company has witnessed remarkable growth over the past 17 years. Today, CSSI boasts a robust team of over 250 professionals, serving a diverse clientele along the east coast with comprehensive security and investigative services. The firm's investigative division stands out, handling cases on county, state, and national scales.

Away from his professional commitments, J.R. cherishes quality moments spent with his beloved wife and two children. He also enjoys spending time in the woods, or on the water.
