Jennifer Hartz - President of Corporate Hartz, LLC

Jennifer Hartz / Corporate Hartz LLC

Jennifer Levine Hartz’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) role at The Home Depot, time with McKinsey & Company, experience at iXL Enterprises, and lifelong civic engagement came together in 2000 with the establishment of Corporate Hartz.  The firm has two lines of business: Strategic CSR & Sustainability, and Philanthropy Services for Donor Advised Funds & Family Foundations.  In the former, she leads with her head; in the latter, she leads with her heart. Strategic CSR covers a wide range of issues and opportunities from supply chain to diversity & inclusion, from new markets and products to company brand elevation.  Clients are a variety of sizes, geographies, and industries.  The goal is ethical profit via lower costs and higher revenues. Philanthropy Services involves a heavy component of personal & professional coaching, group facilitation, and nonprofit insight.  The goal is to enable families to use their wealth to improve their relationships, broaden their networks, and to have meaningful impact on the causes and charities they care about. Atlanta clients include Chick-fil-A, Mercedes Benz USA, Baker Donelson, Novelis, Turner Broadcasting, Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG), PWC, Deloitte, PRGX, AGL Resources, and AT&T.  She also serves some nonprofits, including Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Habitat for Humanity International, Atlanta Women’s Foundation, and the Clean Air Campaign. Hartz & Minds is the vehicle for Corporate Hartz’s research, opinions, and insights.   Topics range from 6 Elements of a High-Value Volunteer Program, to The 7 Deadly Sins of CSR; from Garbology: Why Business Must Innovate to Reduce Waste, to Fast Food: A Community-Based Business Under Siege. Jennifer has a BA in industrial psychology from University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA, with a concentration in public policy from GA Tech.  Though Jennifer serves clients around the world, she has been active in a number of nonprofits locally and nationally, including serving as the Advisory Council Chair for Hands On Atlanta.  She lives with husband, Eric, and their four children between the ages of 17 and 21.
