The Lone Star Flight Museum has set a new date for its opening weekend.

At 9 a.m. Sept. 16, the museum will open to the public and offer “pay what you can” admission through Oct. 1, per a press release. The new $38 million museum, at 11551 Aerospace Ave., intended to open over Labor Day weekend, but its leadership decided to postpone after Tropical Storm Harvey hit Houston.

A dedication ceremony will be held Sept. 30, and local officials and dignitaries will attend, per the release. No time…
