Tootsies, a 45-year-old Houston-based luxury retailer, has been sold to its president, Norman Lewis.
The deal closed Aug. 16, according to a press release, a little more than two years after Tootsies founder Mickey Rosmarin died unexpectedly at the age of 63.
Lewis purchased the company from Rosmarin’s heirs for an undisclosed amount and is now the sole owner of Tootsies, per the release. The company’s staffing and corporate structure will remain the same.
