Puget Sound region highway closures are planned for the coming months in one of the busiest construction seasons in recent years.

Washington State Department of Transportation Assistant Regional Administrator Amir Rasaie attributes the uptick in construction to the additional funding from the legislature for preservation projects, including “Revive I-5: Preserving the freeway.”
