Paul Sparrow: The Chief Outsiders Approach to Marketing Leadership

Paul Sparrow is a Managing Partner at Chief Outsiders. A former small business owner-operator and Chief Marketing Officer, he has run marketing and sales organizations at Johnson & Johnson, WebMD Transaction Services (today, Change Healthcare), and Benefitfocus. Having worked in the Fortune 50 environment and with multiple startups, turnarounds, and emerging growth companies, Paul is skilled in driving SMB/lower-mid market company growth. He joined Chief Outsiders in 2015 and was recognized in 2018 as the firm's CMO of the Year. In 2020, he was the company's Top Revenue Producer and received Chief Outsiders' "Living Our Values" award in 2023.

Paul and his wife Heather have been married for twenty-six years and live in Mt. Pleasant, SC. Their daughter is a student at The Savannah College of Art and Design, and their son recently graduated from the University of South Carolina. Paul is heavily involved in men's ministry at Seacoast Church's Mt. Pleasant campus, where he and Heather serve as elders and prayer team members. An Eagle Scout & Order of the Arrow Vigil Honor member, he is an avid outdoorsman, hunter, backpacker, and college football fan.
