One of the Iran nuclear deal’s strongest critics in the U.S. Senate defended President Donald Trump’s decision Tuesday to pull out of the multi-nation agreement.

U.S. Sen. David Perdue, R-Ga., said Trump’s “strong action” would help ensure Iran never possesses a nuclear weapon.
