Germany-based Siemens AG, which has a presence in Houston, announced Nov. 16 it’s making structural changes that will include 6,900 job cuts worldwide over several years. 

Half of the cuts will be in Germany, but another 1,800 job cuts will come from the consolidation of production facilities and administrative functions in the U.S., according to a press release.
