Hargray Communications, a rapidly expanding South Carolina-based telecommunications firm, will buy middle Georgia-based ComSouth, trade publication telecompetitor.com reports. ComSouth provides broadband, voice, and video services in Hawkinsville, Perry, Fort Valley, Cochran and other communities.
Hargray Communications was acquired last year by Tom Pritzker Family Business Interests. Hargray has also invested heavily in fiber connectivity, the publication reports.
