The Atlanta Hawks’ $192.5 million transformation of Philips Arena to State Farm Arena earned the team an upgraded environmental certification.

The State Farm Arena was certified as an LEED Gold building, putting the Hawks’ home in the second-highest bracket of environmentally friendly facilities. Philips Arena held the lowest classification, LEED Certified.
