Born in Greensboro, NC and having lived in 8 states and 12 cities in his lifetime, he is no stranger to embracing change or seizing new opportunities. Growing up, he captained a Tier 1 AAA National Hockey Team, as well as setting records in track & field, baseball, and football. Midway through high school he shifted his focus from sports to the arts, where he made the US National Choir, starred as Danny Zuko in Grease, and was later accepted to Berklee College of Music. Radford Slough was born on March 2, 1960 in Starkville, MS (Mississippi State University). His father started the first farm raised catfish business in the US in 1969 in the Mississippi Delta. Radford worked on the farm for several summers while growing up. He went to a combination of public and private schools in grades 1-12. He received 2 degrees from Mississippi State Univ. in 1983 – BS in Computer Science and BBA in Marketing. He uses his marketing degree EVERY day. (more…)
Bob received a Bachelor of Architecture from Plymouth University in England. He is a registered architect in 10 States, including California. At this point in his career, he still enjoys being involved in all project phases, from running the business to sketching to technical review. Today, you can find him working in studio among all levels of staff. He believes that designing a good-looking building is equally as important as meeting the budget or answering a contractor’s question during construction.
Monica holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Commerce degree from the Queen’s School of Business in Ontario. Monica worked for 4 years with the global business consulting firm, The Boston Consulting Group, taking on projects for Fortune 500 companies. She maintained a passion for teaching business to young people throughout her journey, eventually launching Break Into Business in Atlanta in 2013. (more…)
