Jennifer Smith serves in the role of Vice President of Entrepreneurship and Small Business. She joined the Tulsa Regional Chamber’s economic development team in March 2017 and is responsible for working with area partners to help grow the regional entrepreneurial-ecosystem, assisting local startups by helping remove barriers to their growth and also managing the Chamber’s business incubator for high-growth startups, The Forge. Jennifer also and provides oversight to the Tulsa Small Business Connection, which is the Tulsa Chamber’s suite of programming designed to educate and empower small businesses.  She is a native of Kansas City and holds a bachelor of political science degree from Oklahoma State University.

Prior to joining the Tulsa Regional Chamber, Jennifer served as manager of business retention & expansion on the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce’s Economic Development team. There, she worked with companies of all sizes throughout the region and assisted them with expansion efforts. Prior to her time in Oklahoma, Jennifer worked for the Wyandotte Economic Development Council as investor relations coordinator and for Catholic Charities of Kansas City- St. Joseph as development manager.
