Tara Faquir / Co-Founder & COO of Trustate
Tara Faquir is the co-founder and
Chief Operating Officer of Trustate, one of the world's fastest-growing estate
administration platforms. Since Trustate's founding in 2020, Ms. Faquir has
been involved in all aspects of the firm's development and growth since its
inception. Trustate provides B2B tools to various stakeholders throughout the
estate administration process including law firms, wealth managers,
banks, and accountants, amongst others. Today, the firm is an industry leader
in the LegalTech space and is regularly featured as one of the top startups to
watch. Prior to founding Trustate, Ms. Faquir was the VP of Business
Development at Western Technologies, a technology mapping platform for banks,
mortgage companies, and private lenders. Prior to joining Western Technologies
in 2019, Ms. Faquir spent 4 years with the Girl Scouts, where she was the
Director of Membership and Retail overseeing a team of 18 professionals that
serve 28,000 members. Ms. Faquir started her career in retail, first at
Nordstrom, and later at Rent the Runway where she managed national store
operations and achieved record-breaking 40% sales growth during her tenure. Ms.
Faquir was the founder of Vizcaya Active, a boutique athletic apparel company.
She has been the feature of multiple podcasts on entrepreneurship, and most
recently as a guest lecturer for young entrepreneurs at SCAD Savannah.

Faquir received a B.S. in Economics from the University of Miami and an MBA
from the Fox School of Business at Temple University.
